SMS Alert Terms
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Program
Digital Homewatch Florida, operated by Digital Homewatch LLC ("we"), sends text message alerts about the homes we monitor for our customers.
What we send
Alerts when a sensor at your home detects water, smoke, carbon monoxide or a camera going offline, updates from our staff about such an alert, and notice when your home is placed into storm monitoring because of a weather warning. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in
Only by ticking "Text urgent alerts" in the notification settings of your customer portal. Texts go to the contact you have chosen to be called first.
Message frequency
Varies with what happens at your home. Most months there are none or only a few.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message, or untick "Text urgent alerts" in the portal. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To start again, reply START or tick the box again.
Help
Reply HELP, call (617) 375-9325 or email [email protected].
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text alerts add to, and never replace, our phone calls and in-app notifications; do not rely on texts alone in an emergency.
Privacy
Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the providers that deliver the messages for us. See our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the current version on this page.
